Michelle Jo “Shelly” Graham Harris, 56 of Chandlerville, died Thursday, March 2, 2023 at her home.

She was born August 4, 1966 in Beardstown, the daughter of Richard J. “Dick” and Marjorie K. Brewer Graham. She married Jim Harris, Jr on September 15, 2012 and he survives in Chandlerville.

She is also survived by her mother Marjorie Graham of Beardstown; four children Ashley (husband Tony) Edwards of Beardstown, Dalton Hunnicutt of Springfield, Hailey Hunnicutt of Jacksonville, and Ann Bratsch of Springfield; two step-daughters Jaycee and Jocee Harris of Chandlerville; six grandchildren; a four legged fur baby Izzy; three sisters Lori (husband Ed) Lehne of Mt. Sterling, Patricia Lopez of Beardstown, and Danielle Juarez of Beardstown; two brothers Jay (wife April) Brewer of Kalispell, MT and Richard (wife Crissy) Graham, Jr of Beardstown; numerous nieces and nephews and a lifelong best friend Billie (husband Brad) Sneeden of Beardstown. She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers Timothy Brewer and Robbie Graham, and two nephews Derek Juarez and Steven Brewer.

Shelly attended Beardstown schools and worked various jobs in retail. She had a passion for cleaning, her grandchildren and Izzy. She was a natural jokester and known for acting so crazy that every kid loved her. Shelly was a care giver, and her contagious smile will never be forgotten. She had a sweet tooth but especially a secret love for Reese’s peanut butter cups. She loved spending time with family and friends and a void will be left in the lives she loved the most.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, March 6, 2023 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Burial will be in Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 10 AM until the time of services at the memorial home on Monday.
