Lawrence "Larry" Bauser

Lawrence “Larry” Henry Bauser, age 93 of Beardstown, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born September 5, 1927 in Hagener Township, the son of Charles Edward and Anna Marie Dickman Bauser. He married Louise Campbell and she preceded him in death. He later married Velma Ethridge on June 5, 1987 and she survives.

He is also survived by his two daughters Bonny (husband Jerry) Ren of Frederick and Gloria Jones of Beardstown; one son Brian (wife Christina) Bauser of Morris; 7 grandchildren Henry (wife Kathy), Kenny, Bobby, Angela (husband Scott), Tina, Christy, and Molly; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, two brothers Arthur and Albert Bauser, two sisters Della Briggs and Bernice Richards, and one grandson Billy Hendricks.

Larry attended Beardstown schools. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He worked 40+ years for the Illinois Glove Factory. In his free time, Larry enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. Most of all he cherished the time spent at home with his wife.

Private family services will be held with burial at Beardstown City Cemetery. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
