Crystell Bartlett

Crystell Marie Bartlett, age 72 of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her home.

She was born January 1, 1949 in Beardstown, the daughter of George David, Sr and Virginia Quinn Wilson.

She is survived by her four children Tilford “Ed” Bowman of Quincy, Terry E. Bowman of Jacksonville, Tim E. (wife Sara) Bowman of Lakeshore Hills, and Tamara E. (husband Warren) Farrington of Damiansville; eleven grandchildren Marissa Marten, Raeanna, Jenna, and Krista Bowman, Jessica, Devon, and Jonathon Liebig, Andy and Matthew Bowman, and Orion and Hunter Farrington; seven great grandchildren Kenzly, Kyly, Termperance, Aaron, Liberty, and twins; one brother Earl Wilson of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her companion Gary Greeling, her sister Joanne Hovendon; and three brothers George Jr, Claude, and Chris Wilson.

Crystell graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1967. She attended Lincoln Land Community College specializing in child development. She worked for Beardstown Christian Academy, Beardstown Glove Factory, Penrose Sewing in Quincy, and Expressions by Christine in Quincy. Crystell attended Roodhouse Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and crocheting, fishing, and coloring.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1-2 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Private family burial will be held at a later date.

Due to the current health situation, face masks will be required and social distancing guidelines should be followed.
