Beardstown

Timothy Scott Riner, 59 of Beardstown, died Sunday, December 24, 2023 at his home.

He was born September 14, 1964 in Rushville, the son of Robert S. Riner and Linda Stuckey Quinn.

He is survived by his parents Robert "Steve" (wife Kathy) Riner of Rushville; two step-sons Skyler and Kyle Martin; his sister Cathi L. Dodd of Beardstown; his half-sister Michelle Quinn; his step-brother Kurtis (wife Amy) Logsdon and step-sister Wendy (husband Scott) Hillyer both of Rushville; eight nieces and nephews Andrew (Amanda) Grenlund, Rhianna (husband Cory) Dennis Simpson, Marshall Dennis, Danyalle (companion Dustin) Vremovich, Karley (husband Jared) Rohn, Natalie, Azlyn and Jaylyn; five great nieces and nephews, William, Grace, Amelia, Jacob, and Lilliana. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Catherine Grimm Riner and a brother-in-law Andy Dodd.

Tim attended Rushville Schools and later received his GED. He worked most of his life in the construction industry and could fix almost anything. His love of the outdoors led him to hunting deer and mushrooms, hiking in state parks, and exploring creeks. Tim had a vast collection of Coca-Cola Memorabilia and when he listened to his music it had to be loud. He was full of energy, had the goofiest jokes, and a big heart that will be missed by those who knew him.

The family will meet with friends from 10-11 AM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown.
