Roger Allen Davidson, Sr, 59 of Meredosia, died Friday, April 4, 2025 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 11, 1966 in Decatur, the son of John William and Iva Louise Floyd Davidson.

He is survived by two children Josh Davidson (wife Jessie) of Virginia and their children Wyatt Cooper and Braxton Davidson, Tiffany Davidson (husband Dylan Kinkead) and their children Alaina and Adalynn Livingston; two sisters Audrey Ham (husband Gary) of Versailles and Barb Bruns (husband Jim) of Jacksonville; a brother John William Davidson, Jr (wife Rebecca) of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Kaylen Lasha Davidson, and a son Roger Allen Davidson, Jr aka Bubbie.

Roger graduated from Meredosia High School in the class of 1985. He honorably served in the United States Army during Desert Storm. He was an "88 Mike" driver with the Army and after his service, he came home and continued to drive as a civilian. Roger enjoyed fishing, Rock and Roll, and country music. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding a Motorcycle. Roger paid it forward as an Organ Donor at the end of life.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Oakland Cemetery in Meredosia. There will be no visitation. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
