Robert Dale Fryer

Robert Dale Fryer, age 70 of Beardstown, passed away on April 18, 2026 at Beardstown Nursing and Rehab. He was born October 30, 1955 in Sault Ste Marie, MI, the son of John and Arabelle Fryer. 

Dale attended school in Sault Ste Marie. After moving to Beardstown, he attended the day training program at Cass County Mental Health/Community Hope and Recovery Center. He made many friends here. Dale was an avid Donny and Marie Osmond fan. He enjoyed listening to music, watching old movies, Ford Mustangs and bowling on the Beardstown Area Special Athletes. He will be remembered for his sweet personality, his laugh and his smile. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Beardstown. 

Dale is survived by his sisters Sandra Lyles, Geraldine Martin, Dorothy Fryer, Ardith (John) Smart, Cathy (Charles) Tweddle; brothers Charles (Barbara) Fryer, Paul (Shirley) Fryer, David (Florie) Fryer, and John Fryer; several nieces and nephews, and a very special friend Jessica Jergens. Dale was a preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law James Lyles and Roger Martin. 

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the services at the memorial home on Tuesday. Private family burial will be held at a later date in Michigan.
