Marsha Kay Geiman, age 63 of Beardstown, was called home to her Lord, Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her home.
She was born January 24, 1956 in Rushville, the daughter of John David and Henrietta Mae Tucker Utter, Sr. She married Stephen Edward “Butch” Geiman on May 15, 1971 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2011.
She is survived by her children Charles R. Geiman of Chicago, Shawn M. Geiman of Rushville, Nickie K. (husband Phillip) Hensley of Beardstown, and Jeremiah J. Geiman of Vermont; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers James D. (wife Sandy) Utter of Rushville, and John D. (wife Joyce) Utter, Jr of Rushville; two sisters Melissa J. ( husband Dean) Carter of Arkansas and Lisa A. (husband Frank) Muellersman of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter Marie, and a grandson Sean Hensley.
Marsha worked at Caseys in Manito. She enjoyed puzzle books, word searches, and reading. She was devoted to her family and always helped others. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Marsha was a sweet lady had had faith in her Lord. She never complained and even at the end she still had her laugh. This is what will be remembered most about her. R.I.P. lovely lady.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 24th, 2020 at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be held at 2 PM in Vermont Cemetery on Friday. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements. Due to the current health situation, please remember to comply with social distancing guidelines and facemask recommendations.
