Kerman Martin

Kerman B Martin, age 76 of Macomb, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Mt. Sterling Nursing and Rehab.

He was born September 29, 1947 in Colchester, the son of Hiram "Bud" and Georgia Scudder Martin.

He is survived by a daughter; three grandchildren; his sister MJ Montgomery of Beardstown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Douglas Christopher Martin, and two brothers Leroy and Clarence Martin.

Kerman graduated from Colchester High School in the class of 1965. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Macomb Dairy, McGraw Edison in Macomb, and retired after 27 years with Amtrak in Philadelphia, PA. Kerman had a strong Christian Faith. He enjoyed old movies, reading, and musicals.

Private family services will be held with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
