Gary Perkins

Gary Keith Perkins, 62 of Beardstown, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Heritage Health in Beardstown.
He was born December 5, 1952 in Peoria, the son of Gerald and Bernice Virgin Perkins.

He is survived by his children Kimberly Crook and Jason Perkins of Beardstown; his granddaughter Taylor Crook of Beardstown, his sister Patricia (husband Larry) Brewer of Beardstown, his step father Robert Loughary; and his step sister Susan Bivens of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step sister Sandra Gren.

Gary graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1972. He served in the United States Army in Germany driving trucks. He was employed with Trinity Steele and later with Bohn Aluminum in Beardstown for 15 years.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Browning Cemetery with Reverend Brian Kenney officiating. There will be no visitation.

Memorials have been suggested to Cass/Schuyler Area Hospice or to the donor’s choice.

Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
