Bobbie Gene Loeschner

Bobbie Gene "Bob" Loeschner, 61, of Jacksonville, died Friday, September 25, 2026, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born June 2, 1965, in Vietnam, the son of Bobbie Gene and Rose Marie Fredia Loeschner. He married Kristy Dawson on April 3, 1993, at First United Methodist Church in Beardstown, and she survives.

He is also survived by one son, Bobbie Loeschner of Jacksonville; two daughters, Nikki and Bethany (husband Jeff); two granddaughters, Brynna and Michala; and his beloved Chihuahua, Lennon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Christopher.

Bob enjoyed fishing and treasured time spent with his family. His faith in the Lord was an important part of his life.

Cremation rites have been accorded and private family services will be held. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
