August Carriger

November 29, 2022 — November 29, 2022

My name is August Renee Carriger. My parents named me August because that was the month, they found out that I was growing inside my mommy’s tummy. I entered eternal rest on November 29th, 2022. My family is very sad they didn’t get the chance to watch me grow but now I will watch over them from above.

My parents are Brian and Amanda Carriger and I have two big brothers Tucker William and Lain Daniel. My daddy was looking forward to teaching me all about farming and anything to do with the outdoors. My mommy couldn’t wait to read the Harry Potter books to me, teach me to shoot baskets, and braid my hair. Tucker wanted to teach me everything he knew about football and recently asked mommy what my favorite team would have been. Tucker, Mommy loves the Green Bay Packers so I am pretty sure that would be my pick however the Buffalo Bills are a good team to follow. Lain, I know you would have loved to teach me every dinosaur name possible but keep sharing them as I am listening from heaven. I was baptized into the Catholic faith.

I leave behind a lot of family but don’t worry about me because I am with my Great Grandparents Lorene Hutchings, William Patterson and Anna Louise McLain and we will see you again. My grandparents are Daniel & Julie Carriger and Dana & Dawna McLain. I also have great grandparents and they are Herschel & Norma Carriger, Robert Hutchings & Don & Judy Rhoads. I am blessed with Uncles and Aunts that would have spoiled me with love; Eric Carriger, Audrey (Michael) Kean, Adrienne (Caleb)Roegge and Patrick McLain. Oh, and I can’t forget all the numerous great aunts and uncles.

My family is very sad and currently they want to make sure that people know me. They also want to keep my memory alive by helping other families that go through sad times. If you would like to do something to help, feel free to leave a donation in my name c/o: Colwell Memorial Home 515 S. State St., Beardstown, IL 62618, and my family will be able to give to others in honor of me.

My family is going to lay me to rest privately but please think of them over the next weeks and months to come as they will appreciate all the prayers and support.
