Homero Ruben Aguado



Homero Ruben Aguado, age 46 of Beardstown, died Friday, July 28, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
 
He was born October 11, 1970 in Morris, the son of Homero Aguado and Nancy Litty.
 
He is survived by his companion Janelle Cervantes of Beardstown; six children Jose (wife Sayra Garcia) Torres of Freemont, NE, Homero Aguado Jr, Josephine, and Sebastian all of Council Bluffs, IA, Issaac Aguado of Omaha, NE, and Jimena Aguado of Beardstown; his grandchild Jaylah Torres; two brothers Marvin Aguado of Charleston and Juan (wife Maria) Aguado of Beardstown; and one sister Joana (husband Gerardo) Torres of Beardstown. He was preceded in death by his parents.
 
Homero graduated from Morris High School and later received a degree in HVAC. He was a truck driver and most recently drove for Dot Foods in Mt. Sterling. He enjoyed fishing and having cookouts. Most of all he cherished the time spent with his family.
 
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Burial will be in the Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 5-9 PM Tuesday at Colwell Memorial Home.
